The Glock 17 Pistol is a very popular and used Pistol. The Glock 17 Pistol is widely used by police and Law Enforcement departments. Umarex decided to make an Airsoft version of this amazing Pistol. The Airsoft Pistol we are talking about is the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 GBB.

The airsoft version takes the same thing out. The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 GBB runs on regular green gas and fires with a cool and fast round. An added benefit of being licensed is that it can work with many other accessories for Glocks such as weapon lights, holsters, and more. Most importantly, the Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 features the latest mechanical system with incredible recoil, easy hop-up adjustment and excellent gas performance.

The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 is a licensed product, all of the features associated with it are the same as what you would find on a real gun.

In August 2017, Glock introduced the "fifth generation" or "Gen5". They focus on ergonomics and improve reliability. Most of the features of the Gen5 Glock pistols are not interchangeable with those of previous generations. The two Gen5 models announced are the Glock 17 and the Glock 19, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Other changes of the Gen5 models are: ambidextrous slide stop levers, DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish on the barrel and slide, a barrel with a new style of polygonal rifles called "Glock Marksman Barrel". It also includes a deep barrel crown, a flared magazine and a reset (half-moon) cut into the bottom of the grip. The locking pin on the top of the devices introduced in the third generation has been left out along with the finger ports on the handle.

"Gen 5" is included on the pictures next to the model number to identify fifth generation guns. The magazine was also updated on the Gen5 models. The modified magazine wells have a forward-facing lip to provide a comfortable hand-pull grip and the magazine follower is orange for easy identification.

We recommend using Nuprol 2.0, Nuprol 3.0 or Airsoft Surgeon green air. For bb's we recommend using Bioval 0.25 or Nuprol RZR 0.25
